Dr. Angela Stewart
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Angela Stewart is the owner and optometrist at Blink Optometry in Roanoke, Virginia. She attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry and graduated in 2002. Her connection to the practice goes way back-she first interned for Dr. Neal Jessup in 2001, and years later had the special opportunity to continue his legacy by creating Blink Optometry.
Dr. Stewart has spent over 20 years helping patients see clearly and feel confident in their eyewear. She believes great eye care is about more than prescriptions—it’s about building relationships and helping people look and feel their best every day.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Stewart enjoys spending time with her family, going on new travel adventures, trying local restaurants, and golfing with her husband and kids. She also loves quiet evenings at home with her dog and soaking in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Dr. Neal Jessup
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Neal S. Jessup, originally from Wytheville, Virginia, attended high school in Richmond before moving to Roanoke to study at Roanoke College. He later earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
After graduation, Dr. Jessup returned to Virginia, settling in Vinton, where he assumed the practice of Dr. Herbert Keaton. Over the next 36 years, he dedicated his career to providing comprehensive eye care in private practice, spending his later years in professional association with Dr. Angela Stewart. He continues to serve patients part-time at Blink Optometry.
Beyond optometry, Dr. Jessup treasures time with his wife, Tammy, their three sons, and three grandchildren. He plays bass and percussion with the worship team at his church and enjoys an active lifestyle that includes pickleball, volleyball, cycling, and paddling on the lake.
